Notes
GENERALLY
Every vintage piece tells its own story, which is why signs of wear may occur in some cases. We strive to depict the condition of each item as accurately as possible through product images and descriptions.
We also recommend paying particular attention to the measurements and fit (size estimation), as sizes often differ from today's standards.
RECONDITIONING & REWORK
We carefully clean and recondition each garment, making minor repairs or adjustments where necessary. Our goal is to preserve the originality of the pieces and give them a new lease of life without altering their character.
PRODUCT SAFETY
According to the Product Safety Act (ProdSG), we must point out that we are not the manufacturer of these products. Since these are vintage clothing, we cannot guarantee testing according to current standards.
Important note for children’s clothing:
Some vintage garments were manufactured decades ago under different safety standards. Especially in children's clothing, long cords, small buttons, or certain materials can pose a safety risk. It's important to check whether the garment is suitable for your child before wearing it.
Materials and incompatibilities:
Since we cannot always determine the exact material composition, we recommend that people with sensitive skin or known allergies be cautious and contact us in advance if they have any questions.
Size & Dimensions
In addition to the actual size indicated on the label of a garment, you will also find an estimated size in our product description under “Fit”.
The actual size of an item may change due to repeated washing and wearing, and the official sizes of the past have also evolved into the information we use today.
We strive to provide you with the most accurate description possible. You'll also find additional measurements in most product descriptions:
TOPS
The shoulder width is measured at the front and is the distance between the two shoulder seams.
The chest measurement is measured at the front of the body and is the distance between the seams under the armpits. To calculate the chest circumference, simply double this measurement.
The sleeve length is measured at the front and is the distance from the shoulder seam to the end of the sleeve.
The back length is measured from the center back of the neck to the bottom hem of the garment.
BOTTOMS
The waistband width is measured at the top of the pants, from the left to the right side seam. To calculate the waistband (circumference), simply double this measurement.
The inside leg length (inseam) is measured from the crotch seam to the bottom edge of the trouser leg.
The leg opening is measured at the bottom of the trouser leg from the left to the right side. To calculate the hem width (circumference), simply double this measurement.
For trousers we also describe the cut of the respective item under“Fit”as tight, narrow, straight, loose or wide.
